New job adn other exciting news!
Things have been moving and shaking around The Johnson house lately. As most of you know, Joel is now the Assistant Athletic Director for NISD. Huge promotion and much deserved. Hard to believe he will not be spending long hours after practice doing laundry and writing practice scripts. I am looking forward to what God has in store for him as he embarks on this new journey.
Jaycie is enjoying her last months as an 8th grader. Can't believe our baby will be in high school next year. Look out Northwest High School. Her select basketball team, Air Max, is practicing 3x a week in preparation for the upcoming tournament season. We are going to be in Round Rock, San Marcos, Frisco, and ending up in Colorado for Nationals. Love seeing her out on the court, playing the game she loves. We are so proud of her and I admire her love for the game. She still looks like her Rha-Rha, with those legs.
We have also sold our house! Our dear friend, Lori Jacobson, is a realtor and has been selling homes left and right. We thought we would give it a shot. Well the sign went up and 24 hours later we had an offer that was $4000 above the asking price. Lori is really good at what she does! We are going to move into a small rent house in downtown Roanoke (which has a pool) and take our time deciding which area we would like to live in. God is good. He will guide us to where we need to live. We will close around April 30th.
I will continue to do my best updating as we take our new adventure. It's always exciting with us!
Love to all! Laynie
